Acceptable Use & Community Guidelines
This policy governs our current pre-launch submission process. The full policy set will be finalized before creator accounts open.
1. The spirit
Revolution Unlocked is built for artists and fans. Treat creators, listeners, and staff with respect. These guidelines keep the platform safe, fair, and authentic.
2. You must not
- Upload content you don't own or have the right to distribute.
- Submit false, fraudulent, or materially misleading information about yourself, your music, or your rights — including in the founding-creator intake form.
- Post illegal content, or anything covered by the Content Moderation & Illegal Content policy.
- Harass, threaten, dox, or abuse others; post hate or incitement.
- Impersonate an artist, person, or the platform.
- Manipulate discovery, streams, engagement, or fairness metrics (bots, fake plays, artificial inflation).
- Attempt to bypass access controls, rights gates, or paywalls.
- Scrape, reverse engineer, or overload the platform; introduce malware.
- Spam or run unauthorized advertising/solicitation.
- Misuse available Platform features, including SIREN where available, to violate these Guidelines or applicable law.
3. Authenticity & fairness
Our fairness model depends on genuine activity. Artificial manipulation of plays or exposure undermines every honest creator and will result in removal from discovery and possible termination.
4. AI & submitted content
Content you submit through the founding-creator intake is used solely to evaluate your submission for potential selection as a founding creator. We do not use unselected submissions to train AI or machine-learning models.
5. Reporting
Report violations through the available in-product reporting route or at abuse@revolutionunlocked.com. We review reports proportionately under the applicable policy and documented process.
6. Consequences
Violations may lead to proportionate action, including content restrictions/removal, feature limits, suspension or termination, consistent with the applicable moderation, rights and legal process. We do not promise an automated enforcement outcome.
7. Changes
We may update these guidelines as the community and platform grow.
